How does Horizon WEB work?

1. Submission of an application by the employee

The employee submits an absence application directly through the web platform, seeing information about:

  • Reducing the administrative burden on the payroll team;
  • the available leave days;
  • the used days;
  • the applications pending approval;
  • the rejected applications.

They select a period and a substitute colleague, then confirm the application. The system automatically generates an official form, signed with an advanced electronic signature.

2. Approval by the responsible person

The approvers receive an email notification and review the request in the platform. They can:

  • approve the leave request;
  • reject it by stating a reason. The rejection is displayed in the system for the employee.

3. Processing by payroll

The approved request is automatically transferred to Horizon Desktop and is available for processing by the payroll team. Upon confirmation:

  • the days are posted automatically to the employee’s card;
  • the leave is included in the payroll calculations;
  • there is no manual transfer or additional actions.

4. Report on absentees and substitutes

The platform supports a report that displays information about:

  • the absent employees;
  • substitutes;
  • the start and end date of the absence.

The report is extremely useful for the entire company team.

5. Additional capabilities

  • Submitting requests for remote work (home office);
  • Uploading sick notes (PDF or photo), which are received and processed directly by the payroll specialist.
